MISSION
The Safely Somewhere Foundation is an Arizona-based non-profit organization with the mission of locating safe living environments for individuals who can no longer live safely on their own. We assist individuals who can afford the cost of long-term care and those who cannot. We help guide individuals and families through the process of locating, evaluating, and selecting long-term care facilities. For those individuals who cannot afford it, we provide financial assistance with assisted living-related costs during the Arizona Long-Term Care System (Medicaid) or the Veterans Affairs (VA) Aid and Attendance application processes.
BACKGROUND
The Safely Somewhere Foundation was established in response to a growing number of individuals seeking treatment at health care facilities, were deemed unsafe to live on their own, and needed to be in a long-term care environment. Some were able to afford the cost while others were not. Having a 501(c)(3) accreditation enabled us to establish a fund to address this underfunded population.
The Safely Somewhere Foundation was established in August 2014 and has assisted over 3,000 individuals and their families with placement services. Since Semptember 2015, we have sucessfully aided over 300 individuals with long-term care related costs totaling over $115,000. The synergy of both funded and underfunded clients allows us to help everyone needing long-term care services through the assistance we offer. Please contact us for more information.

Every client is different. Each one has their own set of needs, wants, and challenges. Our team starts off by completing a thorough discovery interview to identify the level of assistance required, the desired geographic area for placement, and the available budget. What is a placement service?
A service provided FREE of charge to potential residents and their families to assist them in locating the best long-term care options for their situation. These options include, but are not limited to:

- Skilled Nursing Facilities
